An interesting email received. Can you HELP?

We are writing this story to try and help a gentleman who emailed us with a request of help in tracking down someone who he spoke to in 2009 and is wanting to speak to this person again.
We have had pemission to publish the email this gentleman sent to us so you can read it and see if you are the person that he is looking for.
Here is the email below but we have left out the name of the sender as he requested.

Message: Dear Sir or Madam,

The setting was unusual - believe it or not it was a public exhibition of Meccano models, hosted by the North West Meccano Guild and held at the Methodist Church Hall, Turpin Green Lane, Leyland on Saturday 7th March 2009.
I was an exhibitor at the display, and two members of the paying public were, apparently, connected with the psychic scene in the North West. One of them gave me an informal, impromptu reading while we sat downstairs having a cup of tea in the bar.
The reading mentioned facts which I could not verify as correct
at that time. It was only later in the week that I was able to consult my elderly mother who confirmed details that I had never been aware of previously, but were specified with great certainty by the psychic reader. My mother was amazed and expressed the
wish that she could meet the man in question.
So, I would like to re-contact the gentleman who gave me that reading, in order to give him feedback and possibly, some confirmation that he is very skilled at this, in addition to seeing if I could arrange for my elderly mother to meet him.
Would you be able to help me find this man? He was fairly young - late 20s to 30s I would guess. It seems that later that day he was due to attend a pre-arranged event elsewhere but had stopped off at the Meccano display in order to spend a short time looking around.
Maybe he is interested in Meccano too? If the person(s) involved are not known to you, would you be so kind as to suggest how I may progress my search?
My mother is 81 years of age and in frail health. I would like to give her the chance to meet the gentleman who gave me the informal reading, sometime in the not too distant future.
